If you recall, the NCAA [and ESPN, God bless it] had done UConn fans a favor over the past few years by scheduling some early-round NCAA games in the early afternoon. Love those early afternoon games.
But our luck has run out this season.
UConn’s first-round NCAA Tournament game, most likely 1 vs. 16 at Gampel Pavilion on Sunday, March 23, will begin probably begin at 8 p.m., following what likely will be the 8-9 game at 5:30. That could change, theoretically, but don’t expect it to.
And should UConn win that game, the second round game on Tuesday, March 25 will begin at 7.
